OFS is a company whose history is steeped in the rich furniture-making tradition and strong German heritage of southern Indiana. This art of old world craftsmanship is one we’ve mastered and still adhere to today. We’ve been crafting fine wood furniture for over 60 years. In the early 1980’s we turned our efforts solely to crafting fine office furniture.
Today we employ over 1200 associates. Our operations include 7 manufacturing plants, each specializing in its own range of product to insure quality, and 4 support plants which supply raw material to the manufacturing facilities. Together these facilities total 2.1 million square feet.
OFS is a progressive, full-service provider of high quality, wood office furniture that will meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. OFS's commitment to the environment dates back to early 1960, years before most people were aware of the need to protect natural resources. We are proud of our leadership in environmental matters:

OFS products are guaranteed to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship, given normal use and proper care, for twelve (12) years of single-shift service with the exceptions noted below.
OFS will repair or replace, without charge to the original purchaser, any product or part thereof which fails as the result of such a defect during the warranty period.
This warranty does not cover:
OFS warranty is valid only if the products are given normal and proper care. OFS assumes no responsibility for repairs to products that result from user modifications, attachments to a product, misuse, abuse, alteration, or negligent use. Except as stated above, OFS makes no expressed or implied warranties as to any product, and, in particular, makes no warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. OFS shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages arising form any product defect.
First Office products are guaranteed to be free from defects in design, material and workmanship, given normal use and proper care, for ten (10) years of single-shift service with the exceptions noted below.
